I finally activated my One to One account.

We can choose the person who teaches us. Funny and great.

I actually should have done that when in Sydney,

but at that time I didn't know this membership can be extended up to 2 years,,,.

Joined London Marathon unofficially. 

Just running parallel to the official runners on the side walk. 

Just for 22km. Half Marathon. 

Very entertaining, fun, relaxing. Now I have nice sore muscle.

I bought really cheap Madras curry paste by mistake.

Now I can tell ya it's crucial to buy really nice quality curry paste.

Don't get stingy about it.

London is expensive or cheap?

Notting Hill

I just dropped by the famous door in Notting Hill area.

In the movie 'Notting Hill', William Thacker's flat, the ‘blue door’.

Now it's not blue, but black.

Right next to this door, there is a Starbucks store.

Working there would be funny. I may drop my resume there, haha.

'Virtual' Virgin London Marathon

Since the entry is already closed for London Marathon,

I decided to run 'Virtual' London Marathon.

This means that I just run along the real course of London Marathon on the same day and date.

YAMAHA Guitalele GL-1.

One of my best friends gave it to me right before leaving Japan.

Since I have already bought two soft suitcases,

and sending stuffs to the other country through custom is always tricky,

I had a hard time to think about how to pack it and  send it safely.

But thankfully, my little baby just arrived without any visible damage.

Sesame Street Video Podcast

Great to learn English 'in English' and 'in the same way as the native speaker babies' learning it.

So effective and helpful for me to get rid of the so-called 'the second language speakers' way of using English'.

I sort the episodes of the unfamiliar words to me, like 'habitat' or 'Glockenspiel',

because it is silly for me as a 30-years-old guy to learn the meaning of 'Friend' or some words like that. Haha.

Living expenses in London

This was my very first lunch in UK.

A bottle of water, Rice salad with prawn and vegetables, and another salad.

Just 3.70 GBP.

Until Apple would release the new model of iPhone, 

I use any cellphone which is the cheapest.

The price of this cell phone is less than 4 GBP.

And the usage rate is not so bad for the short-term use.

No contract or any hidden fees.

London is not super expensive, 

just depending on what you do and how you do.

Something is more expensive than that in the other cities, but also something is cheaper.

My resolutions in London.

+ Get up before 8 a.m.

+ Work out everyday

+ Spend more time to publish more blog posts with photos.

+ Prepare breakfast before going to bed.

ついさっき、自分のほぼすべての荷物が宅急便でロンドン（一部は成田）へ旅立っていった。

ただ、

・一部の国（ニュージーランド、オーストラリアなどの、Isolatedな農業国など）では、
税関が非常に厳しく、靴に泥がついていただけで問題になる

・梱包が自信なし

などで、あと3週間前後、不安な日々になりそう（笑）。

友人がくれたギタレレを壊さないよう、念入りに梱包したので、SAL便は一つ15kg、16000円。

ちょうどRimowaを手放したときに、楽器をもらってしまったが、

やっぱり、なんだかんだで、こういう時にRimowaはちょうどいい。

スーツケースはギリギリに買って使い捨てるのがベストだね。荷物や航空券に合わせて。

後日、結果を追記します。




※Royal　Mailのwebページで　Parcel　Tracking　Details　を確認してみると、

Status　：　Advised　となっていた。

Advised　って、どういうことなんだろう。

軽く検索した感じでは、Native　Speakerでも、分からない人が多いようで、

回答も、クリアなものは、なかなか見つからない感じ。

郵便局に問い合わせても、分からないとのこと。適当だな。
